Ways to Promote with your Influencers
Types of posts
- Link in bio
- Link in post (image or video)
- Link in story (image or video)
Always try to negotiate for the trifecta.
Usually they will Price it for 24 hours, so negotiate for 3 - 2 hour slots in all 3 areas.
Activity usually drops off to almost nothing after 2 hours, so get that activity boost and notification to their followers more often over that 24 hour period of time.
Also keep in mind if the person has 10,000 or more followers take advantage of the swipe up feature
Swipe up will redirect the viewer to your link.
Never accept the first offer price. Always negotiate for a lower price. Mention that others are offering X price for a certain amount of time, However you can offer X for example all 3 spots and swipe up.
Offer a % of sales, or a 1 off price to the influencer. A % of sales usually will only be possible if you have built a history with the Influencer or if you can provide proof of sales history.
Some Influencers might even do a trade. Send them the product or service for free, in exchange for a review post/link.

Initial outreach template
(send via email, DM, link in bio on contact page) anyway you can
Once you’ve compiled a list of potential influencers, I suggest you prioritize top influencers and send them personalized emails. For those a little further down the list, a template will do just fine.
Here’s an example:
Hi [name],
My name is [your name] from [company].
Just curious what your shoutout rates (costs) are? We are offering [insert product] and looking for influencers that we want to work with longterm.
Let me know what we can setup / workout for a test
Best,
[your name]

A common way to build a relationship with a potential influencer is by asking them to contribute to your content. Here’s a clear, polite template you can use for this purpose:
Hi [name],
Can I feature you in a featured post / story / bio post?
I’m writing an expert advice piece and am reaching out to all the big players in the [topic] field, and I think your contribution would be very valuable. I plan to mention your brand in the post as well, so it could bring you some helpful exposure.
Here’s what I would like to know for the piece:
[insert question(s)]
I know you are probably busy and completely understand if you don’t have time to contribute. If you are interested, I would appreciate it if you got back to me within the next seven days.
Thank you,
[your name]

Influencer mention template
Once you’ve featured an influencer in your content, you have to make sure they notice.
Here’s a template you can use to let influencers know you wrote about them, and to politely request that they share the content with their networks.
Hi [name],
I wanted to thank you again for contributing to my expert advice post. I was amazed by how much great advice I got, including yours, and I think the post will bring a lot of value to my readers.
The post just went live:

Take a look at it if you have time. I would love to know what you think. It would be great if you could like and share it with your audience.
Thanks again,

This template can help speed up the process of contacting potential influencers to guest post, but be sure to note whether or not they have specific guidelines before you send a message.

Finally, this template will be helpful if you want to ask an influencer to review your product or feature your giveaway on their website.

Influencer outreach is a huge task, which is why it’s important to take advantage of any tools you can to make the process a little easier. These five email templates are a great place to start, though you’ll want to customize their language to suit your business and your niche.
- Video gets up to 2 times as much engagement over pictures
- In order of types of posts that do best! Story, then Bio, then Post
- Make sure there are not other promotional posts for at least 24-48 hours before your Story post, or regular post.
- Influencers that don't realize they are Influencers you can definitely get for a cheaper price and can negotiate that 3 - 2 hour slots for all 3 placements a lot easier.
- Add a couple money or fire emojis in your subject lines when DM'ing influencers to draw more attention and jazz up the clickbait to get them to open the message.
- Make your logo bright in color to draw attention to your DM's that your sending to increase open rates
- Use all caps if you need to. Draw attention to your subject line
- Keep it to the point, influecners can get many DM's so keep it short but to the point
- Stacking you cant monitor sales from different Influencers. Use tracking links at the vary least.
Can't stress this enough to TRACK YOUR LINKS. See suggestions at the bottom of this page.
- In posts and storys keep text to a minimal. Make sure to include scarcity and urgency. Time limited, limited time offer, offer ends x date
- Swipe up with story posts are best as the link can be attached to swipe up method and auto redirect user viewing. Swipe up is available to those with 10,000 followers or more.
- Average costs based on followers (a guideline as suggestion but can deviate from suggestion here)
- less than < 50,000 $10 max
- 50,000 - 150,000 $10-25
- 150,000 - 300,000 $25-40
- 300,000 - 500,000 $40-60/ maybe $70
- 500,000 + (only target after you have tested on smaller influencers, and you verify by viewing some of their comments that they are not 1-3 word answers from the same sort of people that are usually commenting same way as these can be follower or comment farms providing them) Then and only then approach this sort of influencer for $100 +
